  Decently priced drinks, friendly staff and food was pretty good too. Good experience altogether. Would definitely recommend. The vibe was great too!

  The venue has a spectacular interior with the namesake Verandah offering fresh air and a leafy aspect. The offerings were fine and the staff were polite and helpful.
  
  When I attended, the Google Maps location's Health & Safety field had incorrect information. Upon raising this, it has been updated to reflect the current situation.

  It is a nice venue for events. Food starting from $10 meals, I had fish and chips but it was not what I would expect. Nice bar and view of Martin Place from the balcony.

  Verandah bar has been a local favourite for many years. It is conveniently located near Martin Place station, offers many varieties of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and great pub food, and has excellent decorations that matches its welcoming atmosphere.

  this venue has it all! amazing staff, delicious food and the the managers that greet you at the door are super helpful.
  
  I came in on a friday night and the place was pumping and i didnt have to wait long for the guys to work their magic and find me a table
  
  this is definitely my go to for after work!

  We sat inside so we missed the Veranda experience, but it was still nice inside. The tapas food was great. Top quality, interesting variety, reasonable price. Building was lovely in a nice part of the hunter valley. I would give 5 stars except the service was slightly off. The man serving us was overly complimentary of every dish he brought out. And when you get a heap of dishes with tapas this got boring and seemed disingenuous. A simple name and very brief explanation of the dish and an invitation to enjoy is all that is required. I'm being picky. 4 stars is still a good score for a good restaurant. 5 implies perfection and service brought is down a peg.
