  A unique and flexible menu based on garden, sea, farm, and desert. Guest can choose 3, 4, 5 courses from any of the above, as well as the Signature food and wine pairing menu.
  
  Food was delicious and well presented, we had 3 courses and were very satified.
  
  The wine and beverage menu is extensive. Offering local hunter and other Australian wine regions as well as international.
  
  The staff provided an excellent dining experience. They were polite, attentive, and friendly.

  Maitre de was wonderful,seating us outside in the sun on a clear winters day. Staff were great always there but not intrusive. The food was extraordinary must have crab tagliatelle. Of course the wine was excellent also. Don’t miss this one

  Esca Restaurant at Pokolbin is a superb place to eat. Great food & wine & an impressive view. Their menu is innovative and all servings are the same decent size. 3 courses is mandatory but you can order more. Excellent, attentive, professional service. Reasonable prices. A wonderful experience for lunch or dinner.

  We had the signature experience, I found the staff informative and attentive generally the food was nice with the ravioli being amazing. I was disappointed with the carrot cake as there was too much cream cheese and not much cake. We felt at the beginning of the meal it was rushed then we purposely ate slowly to slow down the experience

  By pure coincidence I dined at Esca 2 weekend in a row. The first weekend we had a party of 9 and experienced the signature tasting in the private room. We had no introduction of any course or the wines that were paired with it. The cauliflower was so salty it was barely edible and the sirloin chewy. Apart from that was a very lovely evening. The second time we had a party of 5 and were seated in the main dining room which had a better atmosphere for a group. It was a better meal knowing to avoid the cauliflower and sirloin. The scallops are incredibly small and a touch disappointing but where delicious. The carrot cake for dessert is a divine.

  Food were delicious, staff are friendly and they offer great range of wines. Worth a visit.
